Prior to forming Voyager, Mr. Voigt was the President of the Arizona division of Communities Southwest, a major privately held real estate land developer in the Southwest from 1992 to 2002. At Communities Southwest, his primary responsibilities included land acquisition, due diligence, asset management, and land dispositions. While at Communities Southwest, Mr. Voigt acquired 14 projects with over 4,600 acres including 14,000 lots. During his tenure at Communities Southwest, Mr. Voigt developed many quality communities of lasting value such at Eagle Mountain in Fountain Hills, Tatum Highlands in Phoenix, Parkwood Ranch in Mesa, Augusta Ranch in Mesa, as well as Country Place and Tramonto in Phoenix.
Prior to joining Communities Southwest, Mr. Voigt was the Vice President for land acquisition and development for Continental Homes of Arizona and later was named President of Amcor Investments, the largest land developer in Arizona during the 1980’s. While at Amcor Investments, Mr. Voigt developed many of the notable large master planned communities in the Metropolitan Phoenix area including Tatum Ranch Golf Community in Phoenix, The Islands in Gilbert, Anderson Springs in Chandler, and Lakewood in Phoenix. At Amcor Investments, Mr. Voigt was responsible for all aspects of the entitlement, engineering and construction process.
Prior to joining Continental Homes\Amcor Investments, Mr. Voigt served as the Chief of Staff to the Mayor and City Council for the City of Phoenix. Mr. Voigt has his Bachelors Degree in Political Science and Urban Management from Millikin University and a MPA Degree in Public Law and Administration from Syracuse University.
Mr. Voigt’s civic activities have included serving on the Boards of Valley Big Brothers\Big Sisters (President), the Phoenix Aviation Board, Phoenix Aviation and Municipal Board Committee, Excell School for Handicapped Children (President), the Brophy College Preparatory Dad’s Club (President) and the Brophy College Preparatory Board of Regents.

Rogers Prior to forming Voyager, Mr. Rogers was the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Communities Southwest, a major privately held real estate land developer in the Southwest from 1990 to 2002. During his tenure there, Mr. Rogers was responsible for investor and banking relations, cash flow management, project acquisition financial due diligence, establishing and implementation of company strategy, and information systems. While at Communities Southwest, Mr. Rogers was involved in the acquisition and financing of 22 properties in Arizona and California containing over 22,000 lots, the construction of two golf courses and the formation of a Communities Facilities District. Additionally, Mr. Rogers served as the project manager for Tramonto, 1,100 acre major master planned community in Phoenix. As project manager, he oversaw all aspects of the engineering, development, construction, financing, cash flow, and sales of Tramonto.
Prior to joining Communities Southwest, from 1984 to 1990 Mr. Rogers was the Chief Financial Officer for
Harvard Development a regional real estate developer in the Southwest. While at Notre Dame Development, Mr. Rogers’ responsibilities included project management, project financing, investment analysis, acquisitions, dispositions, cash flow management and banking relationships. From 1980 to 1984, Mr. Rogers worked for Deloitte and Touche as a Tax Manager with responsibilities for domestic and international real estate developers. Mr. Rogers earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Accounting from Brigham Young University and graduated Cum Laude.
Mr. Rogers’ civic activities include being involved in many charitable projects in the East Valley. He was part of the formation of the Financial Officers Group for real estate executives in Metropolitan Phoenix and active in youth activities including Scouting. TOP OF PAGE^
